These mosaics by Liliana Porter are based on Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.
In one scene, Alice pulls back the curtain (similar to the drama revealed every day at the Broadway theaters nearby.) The artist designed the figures as shadows in order to allow the viewer to fill in the details.
