Building the Moroccan Court

The following video details the process of building the Moroccan Court at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.   Talented craftsmen used traditional methods that date back to the 15th Century.

The court is located in the New Galleries for the Art of the Arab Lands, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia and Later South Asia, which house the Museum's collection of Islamic art.  The Galleries opened in 2011.
